My favourite time of the year arrived last week - FASHION WEEK!
The luxury vehicle brand (Mercedes Benz) and African Fashion International (AFI) collaborated to bring us MERCEDES-BENZ FASHION WEEK CAPE TOWN 2015 from 30 July - 1 August 2015.
In the past years Fashion Week was always held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC), but this year the organisers decided to try something different, and the venue for this year's fashion week was THE WATERSHED at the V & A WATERFRONT (my favourite mall as you all probably know by now).
High-end South African designers unveiled their 2015 spring/summer collections, and I was blessed to have attended some of the shows. So over the next few days I will be providing EXCLUSIVE FRONT ROW ACCESS of the shows that I attended, and of course, my favourite fashion moments!
MICHELLE LUDEK
One of MY FIRM FASHION FAVOURITES, Michelle Ludek's ready-to-wear collection was exquisite! She is an established name in the South African fashion industry, and after viewing her 2015 spring/summer collection at Fashion Week one can see why.
What I particularly love about Michelle Ludek's clothes is the FEMININE nature of her designs, yet they are also very FLATTERING (which is a massive plus for us curvier ladies). Her 2015 spring/summer collection exuded ELEGANCE, and I adored her use of bright colours and prints (contrasted by the crisp white).
