The World through the Lens of an African Princess: LONDON'S SOUTH BANK

So a week ago my friends and I decided to explore LONDON'S SOUTH BANK! The South Bank is a stunning RIVERSIDE STRETCH which is centrally located and it is known as the ENTERTAINMENT and COMMERCIAL district of CENTRAL LONDON!

The South Bank is definitely a tourist hub as there are just so many popular attractions. You have the option of taking a BOAT CRUISE over the RIVER THAMES (which I had the amazing opportunity to do- see my previous blog post). And if your tastes are more highbrow in nature then you should make your way to the SOUTHBANK CENTRE where you will find both the ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL and the QUEEN ELIZABETH HALL where numerous orchestras and opera performances have been held. You will also find the HAYWARD GALLERY at the Southbank Centre which is home to some of the world's most adventurous and innovative artists!

You can also opt to take a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Thames (for all you couples in love). Cross the bridges (LONDON BRIDGE and TOWER BRIDGE) and enjoy views of BIG BEN and the LONDON EYE!
