If you read my previous blog post, you would know that I went on HOLIDAY to BARCELONA, SPAIN to celebrate my friend turning a quarter of a century! Over the next few days I will be providing you with the DEETS of my SPANISH adventure!!
MUSEU DE LA XOCOLATA (The Museum of Chocolate)
We kicked off our Barcelona adventure with a visit to the "Museu de la Xocolata" (which is Catalan for "The Museum of Chocolate") or as I simply refer to as "The Chocolate Museum". The Chocolate Museum is a private museum which is owned by Gremi de Pastisseria de Barcelona (the city pastry-makers' guild). It features many displays of CHOCOLATE SCULPUTRES, including well-known BARCELONA BUILDINGS and illustrations from many of our favourite CHILDREN STORIES and STORYBOOKS!!
Here are some of my favourite highlights from my visit to The Chocolate Museum:
