IT'S THE FESTIVE SEASON!
And with Christmas just around the corner, what better way to get into the FESTIVE SPIRIT than by taking a trip to WINTER WONDERLAND!
Seeing as this is my last night in London for 2015 (I am flying home - South Africa - for Christmas but I WILL BE BACK IN LONDON JUST IN TIME FOR NEW YEARS EVE that's for sure), I thought what better way to say goodbye to London (for a short term that is) than by going to a theme park! I am definitely still a CHILD AT HEART even though I will be turning the BIG 30 in 2016! So you can imagine how much fun I had at Winter Wonderland!
WINTER WONDERLAND
Winter Wonderland is a Christmas themed event with so many fun activities that people of all ages will enjoy! You have the option to SKATE around the ICE RINK, or enter the MAGICAL ICE KINGDOM which has ICE SCULPTURES and an ICE CASTLE. If you are a THRILL-SEEKER, there are SO MANY RIDES to choose from! And there are also plenty of CHRISTMAS MARKETS!
Winter Wonderland is set up in Hyde Park, London and entry to the event is free but to take part in any (or rather most) of the activities will cost you! One token starts at 1 pound, and depending on the activity, a ride at the event can cost you anything between 2 tokens to 8 tokens (on average). But it is TOTALLY WORTH IT!
Here are some of my favourite highlights from my Winter Wonderland experience:
One of the rides I dared to go on - THE HANGOVER!! It was TOO AWESOME!
And then I went on a BUMPER CAR for the first time in my life!!
And we also saw this horse drawn carriage with people dressed like they had come straight out of a JANE AUSTEN NOVEL

As I am spending Christmas at home, in South Africa, with family I will be on a blogging hiatus for a week! BUT I WILL BE BACK JUST IN TIME FOR NEW YEARS EVE! Besides LONDON IS THE PLACE TO BE FOR NYE! And I have AWESOME NEW YEARS EVE PLANS which I cannot wait to share with you!
