This is my PENULTIMATE post on my trip to Barcelona, Spain. We took a trip up the mountain of Montserrat.
MONTSERRAT
Montserrat is a MULTI-PEAKED MOUNTAIN located near the city of Barcelona, in CATALONIA, SPAIN. It is part of the CATALAN PRE-COASTAL RANGE. It is the known as the site of BENEDICTINE ABBEY (the ORDER OF SAINT BENEDICT, also known as the BLACK MONKS, a Roman Catholic religious order of independent monastic communities that observe the rules of Saint Benedict) , SANTA MARIA DE MONTSERRAT, which hosts the VIRGIN OF MONTSERRAT (also known as OUR LADY OF MONTSERRAT or THE BLACK MADONNA) sanctuary and is identified (by some) alongside the HOLY GRAIL (a dish, plate, stone or cup that is part of Aurturian literature which - according to legend - has special powers and is designed to provide happiness, eternal youth and food in infinite abundance) in ARTHURIAN MYTH.

There you have it bloggettes! And so my posts on my Barcelona (Spain) adventure are coming to an end. The following post will be on this beautiful 5 star restaurant we discovered in Barcelona, and that will bring to a close my Spanish adventure.
