ENGLAND'S SOCIAL SEASON - THE CARTIER QUEENS CUP POLO MATCH FINAL 2016

It's SUMMER IN ENGLAND!! Although it doesn't always feel like it as its been raining a lot lately!! But nonetheless it is officially summer and you know what that means - ENGLAND'S SOCIAL SEASON HAS BEGUN! As a socialite I love summer as my socialising skills are put to good use. I kicked off my Social Season Calendar by attending the TROOPING OF THE COLOURS MAJOR GENERAL REVIEW - THE QUEEN'S BIRTHDAY PARADE (see blog post here ).

 

Then over the weekend I attended the CARTIER QUEENS CUP FINAL 2016 at GUARDS POLO CLUB in EGHAM! It was the final polo match with DUBAI vs LA INDIANA - and DUBAI WON! I love attending polo matches and did so frequently back home in Cape Town, South Africa at Val De Vie Estate in Paarl - the only Polo and Wine Estate in Cape Town (see their website here ) and I attended the VEUVE CLICQUOT POLO MASTERS at Val De Vie Polo & Wine Estate in Cape Town (see blog post here ).

 

CARTIER QUEEN'S CUP 2016

 

The Cartier Queens Cup is one of the leading polo tournaments with the sports greatest players. The trophy was first presented to the Club by Her Majesty The Queen in 1960 and she historically attends on finals day to present the silver cup to the winning patron. The match between Dubai v La Indiana was so close it had us all at the edge of our seats, and Dubai ended up taking the winning trophy. Watching the polo match was definitely an afternoon well spent and I would highly recommend attending the Cartier Queens Cup.
