A TRIP TO LADUREE AT HARRODS

HELLO BLOGGETTES

When my best friend was visiting me in London, I naturally took her to my favourite area in London -  KNIGHTSBRIDGE

What is there to love about Knightsbridge you may ask? Well, what's not to like!! Apart from the fact that it is the perfect SHOPPING DESTINATION for HIGH END LABELS (see my previous blog post HERE ), you can also find my FAVOURITE PATISSERIE - LADUREE!

LADUREE

Laduree is a French luxury patisserie which is well known for selling the best MACARONS in the world (amongst other delicious PASTRIES).

It's history dates back to 1862, when Louis Ernest Laduree, a miller from the South-West of France, founded a bakery in Paris, which was later transformed into a pastry shop in 1871. The famous painter, Jules Cheret, was entrusted with decorating Laduree and today it is known as being (arguably) the best pastry shop in the world.

It is definitely MY FAVOURITE pastry shop. The modern day Laduree does not sell pastries exclusively, you can pop by for a full lunch if you so wish - which is exactly what my best friend and I did.

Laduree can be found at various areas in London including COVENT GARDEN, CORNHILL, & BURLINGTON AVENUE, but my PERSONAL FAVOURITE is the Laduree to be found at HARRODS.

Here are some of my favourite highlights from my visit to Laduree at Harrods:
