LONDON FASHION WEEKEND 2016 (Part 1) - LONDON'S BIGGEST FASHION POP UP EVENT

As London Fashion Week came to a close, London Fashion Weekend - London's Biggest Fashion Pop-Up Event started! This year, London Fashion Weekend was held from the 22 - 25 September 2016 and I had the blessed opportunity of attending the event.

 

LONDON FASHION WEEKEND

 

London Fashion Weekend is a fashion pop-up event which always happens the first weekend after London Fashion Week. It is the ultimate fashion shopping experience and it gives the general public an opportunity to "step into the life of a fashion insider" and shop designer collections, watch catwalk shows and listen to talks by industry professionals.

 

As you all know, London Fashion Week (like almost all Fashion Weeks around the world) are very exclusive and invitations to shows and presentations at Fashion Weeks is reserved for professionals in the Fashion Industry such as Editors of Fashion Magazines, Fashion Photographers, Stylists, and Fashion Bloggers (like myself). So the purpose of London Fashion Weekend is to open up the Fashion Week experience to non-fashion professionals and they do so by allowing the general public the opportunity to purchase tickets to London Fashion Weekend. So YOU TOO can shop designer collections and watch catwalk shows of high end designers.

This was my first London Fashion Weekend and I have to admit it was a great shopping experience and I got to view one of my favourite London Designer's Catwalk Show - Edeline Lee (see my previous posts on her SS16 presentation at London Fashion Week HERE & my previous post on her AW16 presentation at London Fashion Week HERE ).  I will be giving an exclusive on her catwalk show in my next blog post.
