Everyone who knows me will tell you that I LOVE CHAMPAGNE - especially MOET champagne!!
So after a day spent watching a polo match at the Cartier Queens Cup Final 2016 at Guards Polo Club (see my blog post here ), I was definitely in After-Party mode!!
Moet & Chandon (the House that introduced champagne to the world back in 1743) had its first ever MOET PARTY DAY over the weekend on 11 June 2016 which saw Moet parties happening in major cities around the world including London, Paris, Mexico City and Hong Kong.
Why did Moet choose 11 June as its official party day? Well...on that day in 1967 the celebratory champagne spray was born at the Le Mans race in France. The winner, Dan Gurney, sprayed champagne over the crowd when he was handed a Jerobam bottle of Moet & Chandon on the podium! And that is how the joyous new tradition was born!
I had the blessed opportunity to attend the LONDON MOET NOW OR NEVERLAND PARTY (thank you to Moet UK for the invite) which was held at Basement 1, Victoria House, Bloomsbury, London!! The night was truly extraordinary and I will tell you this -
MOET KNOWS HOW TO THROW A PARTY!!!!
From an infinity room, a photobooth, to a rotating bar, a Miami style pool scene, and an opportunity to have your picture taken by a renowned Magnum photographer in a pop-up studio the Moet Now or Neverland party was out-of-this world!
Here are some highlights from the evening:
The party was TURNT UP!!!
There is no party like a MOET PARTY!! #MoetPartyDay #OpenTheNow
Until the next Moet Party Day!! :)
